It’s going to be one ‘sexy’ year if the Sexy Hair team has anything to say about it! The hair care company has announced that chart-topping country star and former American Idol Kellie Pickler and Dancing with the Stars’ Cheryl Burke have signed on as celebrity spokespersons for 2009. The ladies will sizzle in the company’s trade and consumer ads and promotional materials throughout the year. And, they may even turn up with the Sexy Hair team at a trade show near you!

“Sexy Hair is an attitude! It’s about youth, energy, vitality and feeling sexy,” says Sexy Hair CEO Jim Morrison. “Kellie Pickler and Cheryl Burke are two of the sexiest women on the planet and they both look spectacular.”



Pickler will represent Big Sexy Hair, Short Sexy Hair, Sexy Bath and Body and Sexy corporate. “I’ve been using Sexy Hair products for a couple of years and I’m thrilled to be working with them,” says the former star. “I need all the Sexy Hair I can get!”

Burke will represent Straight Sexy Hair, Healthy Sexy Hair and Sexy corporate. “I am excited about partnering with Sexy Hair,” says Burke. “My hair gets such a workout when I dance and the Sexy Hair products keep up every step of the way. The people at Sexy Hair understand that being ‘sexy’ is first and foremost a state of mind, and I agree. Of course, having great hair helps!”

The two stars join Sexy Hair’s existing celebrity spokespersons The Pussycat Dolls Presents: Girlicious and Close to Home. Girlicious respresents Color Me Sexy, Curly Sexy Hair, Strong Sexy Hair and Silky Sexy Hair while the guys of Close to Home are currently the faces of Short Sexy Hair. The ad campaigns will begin rolling out in April of 2009.



The Sexy Hair team is always out-and-about in Hollywood, working on some of the brightest stars in the biz! Meet the “Rising Stars” behind the 2009 campaign looks for Pickler and Burke, who reveal why the man behind the “sexy”—company founder Michael O’Rourke—is their Guiding Star.

Katiejo Kardel has been in the hair biz for ten years. One of her most recent accomplishments was snagging a Daytime Emmy nomination for her work on the legendary soap opera One Life to Live. She loves that the Sexy team provides her with energy, teamwork, fun, creativity and great products!

Rafe Hardy is the Artistic Creative Director of Sexy Hair and his infectious energy empowers salon pros to greater levels of artistry every time he steps onstage. He’s worked all over the world—from Russia to Thailand and throughout the US—motivating stylists wherever he goes. With over 25 years in the beauty industry, his passion for learning rivals his love of teaching.

Ian Browning is the Sexy Master Hair Artist of the Year and has never been known for doing anything “ordinary.” He used to restore cares and brings his strong sense of street-influenced style to the Sexy Hair team. When he’s not styling the looks for Sexy Hair’s ad campaigns or working as a coach at Michael O’Rourke’s Institute of Courage, he can be found in the clubs spinning records and staying connected with the people and music that inspire him.
