Born in the 1970’s, Sebastian Professional was a pioneer in innovative styling tools and techniques and grew into a portfolio of brands that produced industry classics such as Shaper Hairspray and Potion 9. Today, Sebastian Professional innovates once again and emerges as one brand designed to inspire stylists and consumers alike.

With the relaunch of the Sebastian Professional brand in July 2008, P&G Professional Care seized the opportunity to conduct exhaustive market research with stylists and consumers to determine what was lacking for them in the current salon category. This resulted in over two years of product testing and over 10,000 conversations with stylists and consumers to identify where P&G Professional Care could fill a void. The result today #150 the co-creation of a professional brand and a complete range of versatile and fearless care and styling products.

The new Sebastian Professional is a focused and powerful collection of over 30 products that combine heritage heroes with new and exciting innovation. The three collections below are designed to offer versatility, inspiration and style.

I usually use the Whipped Creme after shampooing my hair. I really like how this product accentuate my waves. It adds the perfect bounce and shine to my hair that lasts through the day without making it dry and crunchy like the typical mousse does. The Whipped Creme is mousse-like and will not weigh down your hair. I try not to get into too many hair styling products since a lot of them weigh down my hair, but this is'nt the case with this product.

The Light Conditioner and Light Shampoo are not the best I've tried for my hair since they leave my hair a little dry afterwards. This is my problem with most shampoos and conditioners though. I can't speak for everyone since everyone's hair is different. I still believe that the shampoo & condtioner are decent even with the little "dry" problem. I like how lightweight these are.

I absolutely hate hair spray. Therefore, I don't use it since it makes my hair really dry and frizzy. I'm sure that there are hair sprays out there that would'nt do that, but I'm too afraid to try. ~lol~ So I let my boyfriend have the Re-Shaper spray. He told me that he really likes it and that it does'nt dry out his hair. Go figure! Maybe I need to take my hair spray back. ~smile~
