“I wanted to extract sort of the feeling and the sense of blood…from molecular structures,” she says on Australian radio program The Kyle and Jackie O Show, before clarifying, “that is in the perfume — but it doesn’t smell like that.”

“It was taken out of my own blood sample,” explaining, “so it’s a sense of having me on your skin.”

“Actually the perfume smells like an expensive hooker,” she says. Gaga’s debut scent with Coty is anticipated to launch in spring of 2012.
