The artistry of the Sephora PRO Beauty Team shaped beauty trends during S/S 2011 New York Fashion Week by creating looks for Charlotte Ronson and assisting at EDUN and Dennis Basso. The sophisticated twists on the models’ natural beauty will be an easy beauty staple next season.
Charlotte Ronson, 9/11/2010, The Stage, Lincoln Center
Based on the ‘80s-inspired Charlotte Ronson collection, the makeup look reflected a mix of grunge, natural and organic, using little color on the face and emphasizing natural skin tones.
"We want to make it look like they did their own makeup for stomping around at Burning Man," explains Sephora PRO Beauty Lead artist, Gilbert Soliz. "By not covering their faces in color, we're using their flaws to our advantage."
To create the look, the Sephora PRO Beauty Team, led by Gilbert Soliz, used the following products:

· Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, $42 - This formula is lightweight, but subtly evens out skin tone to provide a natural, dewy complexion with a radiant glow.
· Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit, $45 - This kit features complementary dark and light colors that blend with all skin tones to help define and contour the natural face structure. The result is an amplification of the entire look.

· Smashbox Bronze Lights Suntan Matte Bronzer, $28 - A silky, matte powder applied to cheeks to add warmth and a light sheen to complexion.

· Sephora Collection Professional Clear Natural Mascara, $10 - To give eyes a barely-there presence, a swipe of clear mascara was used to maintain this fresh look.
EDUN, 9/11/2010, Cue Art Foundation
The EDUN collection was based on organic looks and materials so the corresponding makeup was very natural. This look is accessible to all women and reflected the feeling of the collection.
“The collection was focused around unique and accessible styles, so we used this angle to create a makeup look that was really organic, monochromatic, very raw and effortless," explained Sephora PRO Team Lead, Gilbert Soliz.
To create the face, makeup artist Lisa Butler, supported by Gilbert Soliz and the Sephora PRO Beauty Team, used the following products:
· Make Up For Ever 5 Camouflage Cream Palette in No. 4, $36 - This range of lightweight, warm camouflage creams encouraged an even looking complexion.

· NARS Orgasm Illuminator, $29 - For a flush of color, this peachy pink luminous cream was used to contour facial structure in order to exude a fresh looking radiance.
· NARS Cream Blush in Cactus Flower, $26 - This sheer glaze was applied to lips to enhance their natural color and helped maintain the simplicity of entire look.
Dennis Basso, 9/14/2010, The Stage, Lincoln Center
The futuristic, youthful cut of the S/S 2011 Dennis Basso collection inspired a “wide-eyed pixie” makeup look defined by a clean complexion and flashes of color on eyes and lips.
“The goal was to create a very feminine yet defined eye with a pop of color. Combining bright blues and oranges with the bespoke application of false lashes, we were able to complete this sophisticated look,” says Jose Rivera, Sephora PRO Beauty Team Principal.
To create the face, Kabuki, supported by Jose Rivera and the entire Sephora PRO Beauty Team, used the following products:
· Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation, $40, and Givenchy Mister Light Instant Light Corrective Pen, $32 – This combination created a flawless complexion by evening the skin and highlighting it for a clean, simple look.
· Sephora Collection Blush Me! Mono in Peche Tendre 04, $12 - Adding just a touch of this light sheer peach color to cheek accentuated the polished look.
· Sephora Collection Waterproof Smoky Cream Liner in The Deep End, Electric Teal and Rags to Riches, $10 each - These highly pigmented colors were the basis of the entire eye, creating a strong accent, and a different look on each model.
· Sephora Collection Colorful Mono Eyeshadow in Coffee Brown and City Fog, $12 each- These neutral toned eyeshadows were applied lightly to contour the eye and provide a contrast to the vibrant blue, teal and orange liners.

· Make Up For Ever Eyelashes - Individual, $15 - To create the ultimate lash for this look, segments of lashes were applied and curled before multiple applications of mascara. The result was dramatic and a modern twist on the classic Audrey Hepburn eye.
· Sephora Collection Nano Eyeliner in Golden Sand 07 - A golden-colored pencil liner was used to add gleam and pull the entire eye look together.
· Sephora Collection Colorful Artist Lipstick Palette, $36, and Sephora Collection Ultra-Shine Lip Gloss in Perfect Nude 20, $14 - This combination of light nude and rose lipstick was paired with a shiny neutral gloss to complete this sophisticated look.
