Beauty product pioneer and company founder, Richard Russell, has sold millions of luxury beauty products and over time became the leading supplier of luxury beauty products in the market. Over the last few years, he noticed a growing demand from his customers for organic and natural products. He began to investigate further into a number of brands and could not find a brand that was both very high quality, and free of all known toxins. Frustrated that he could not meet his customers demands, he set out on a mission to formulate his own products, and Russell Organics was born.

Russell Organics has further distinguished itself by becoming a Carbon Free organization. By not using wasteful packaging that requires significant natural resources, as well as consuming a lot of energy, the Company already had a low carbon footprint relative to the rest of the beauty market. But that was not good enough for the Company. The Company then invested in Carbon Off-sets, thereby entirely removing any Carbon trail for its activities. This is a modern and unique approach for a Beauty Company, but we feel that this is only one of many ways to create harmony in our lives.

The Company also became a Certified Cruelty Free and Certified Vegan organization. This means that we never use any animal testing or animal products in their formulations, for any reason. It is not an acceptable choice for them to do so. Further, the equipment used to make the products has never come in contact with animal products.



I love the Organic Argan Oil ($28), because it is versatile enough to use on the skin and hair. I like that I can use it on my face to moisturize and protect it without creating blemishes in the process. Instead, it helps clear up skin and fades old scars since it is rich in vitamin E and omega 3 essential fatty acids. Argan oil is also great for wrinkles, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. Therefore, you can really benefit from using this product no matter what your skin type is!

Argan oil is more effective than Dimethicone and Isopropyl Myristate for the hair since it dramatically reduces frizz, adds shine and increases natural hydration. Plus, it is non-toxic! Chemicals such as Dimethicone and Isopropyl Myristate are too harsh for the hair, and can even causes blackheads and pimples - yuck! Argan oil even protects the hair from being damaged by harsh weather, flat irons, curling irons and blow dryers.



The Organic Camellia Oil ($22) is another extraordinary product by Russell Organics. Asians have used this miraculous product as moisturizer and hair treatment for centuries. It is even considered as the "olive oil" in Asia.

Organic Camellia Oil is also another product that is good for acne, but it is mainly used for dry skin since it is highly moisturizing. It is known to prevent and treat wrinkles & stretch marks. It will even heal scars! And, lets not forget about the cuticles. It will moisturize and protect your nails as well.




The Organic Rose Hip Oil ($24) is ideal for all skin types but oily skin. I don't use it on my face, because I have combination skin. Therefore, I have a tendency to break out. I love to use it on the rest of my body, especially on old scars since my face is the only part that is acne prone. It is another wonderful product that reduces discoloration or pigmentation in the surrounding area of a scar. It is also known to reduce any raised area of the scar as well.

The name of this product is a bit off putting since it doesn't smell anything like roses. I'm not exactly sure how to describe the scent, but this really isn't important since good results is what you should aim for when it comes to skincare. This what you will achieve from the Russell Organics line.
