Review: Solavie

احدث اجدد واروع واجمل واشيك Review: Solavie

I had the opportunity of using Solavie, the first unisex skin and hair line designed around the body's response to environmental conditions. Each enviro-type line includes a face wash, face nourish, body nourish, hair/body wash and hair nourish/style.

Spa owner Pamela Rae, had an equally strong vision for the Solavie bottle as she had for the products inside. The products inside are unisex, but the bottles hook up in pairs. The uniquely shaped twin bottles, one inverted, snap together at the back. The unique yin/yang design of the bottle allows any two products to be joined together in one compact unit for easy packing. No more bulging toiletry bags filled with leaky containers. Also, the rigid side-wall structure prevents bursting during travel.

Some of the Solavie admirers include Cameron Diaz, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lopez, Jude Law, and Naomi Watts.

I used the Tropics Face Wash and Face Nourish for very wet, humid ecosystems, which expose the skin and hair to excessive moisture, heat and high levels of bacteria. Each of the five Tropics skin/hair care products contains these key ingredients: Ylang-ylang Oil, Jasmine Oil, Bergamot Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Modified Corn Starch, Centella Asiatica Extract, Green Tea Extract, Coneflower Root Extract and anti-oxidant rich Vitamins, A,C,E. Wet, humid ecosystems expose the skin and hair to excessive moisture, heat and high levels of bacteria. The phyto-nutrients native to the Tropics, anti-oxidants and anti-bacterials counteract excessive oil and resist the bacterial invasion. Mineral-rich volcanic spring water from the mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho boosts the effectiveness and delivers nutrients deep into skin/hair cells.

Since we've been having excessive heat, but not enough moisture, the Tropics Face Wash ($24) with the natural scent that depicts the aroma of a tropical paradise in full bloom was just the thing for a gentle exfoliating face cleanser.

The Face Nourish ($38) is an ultra-rich face cream, which is very light, and left my face with that non greasy feel. It didn't break my face out like some did that I've used.

I used the Hair & Body Wash ($10) when I showered. It's a shampoo and bath gel in one. The bath gel left my skin feeling so clean and refreshed. However, the shampoo made my hair feel really dry. I'm not saying this is a bad shampoo to use, but perhaps the Tropics shampoo was'nt just for me.

The Body Nourish ($18) can be used as a body or light face cream. I applied the Body Nourish after showering. It was lighter than the Face Nourish. It made my skin feel soft and smooth. It did not leave me with greasy feeling.

The Hair Nourishment/Style ($16) is a conditioner and styling gel in one. It left my hair, shiny, silky, and soft.
