Here is hairstylist Creighton Bowman’s 2-day diary of his work with the amazing Melissa Leo who is at Sundance promoting her movie “Red State”, won a Golden Globe and was just nominated for the Oscars!

Day 1:

“For our fist look I decided to bring out her natural curls. Starting on towel dried hair I used Leonor Greyl Algues Et Fleurs styling spray for curly hair from root to ends. Then, I added Eclat Naturel styling cream to make her curls soft and shiny. Using a diffuser on my blow dryer and on a low setting, I dried in all her natural waves. To finish this great natural look, a couple drops of Serum De Soie Sublimateur frizz protector was perfect! Her hair stayed all night!”


Day 2:

“The Oscar announcements hit Sundance! I wanted Melissa to look extra special, but still maintaining the natural look of this film festival. Blown out beautiful hair with soft waves was a perfect way to go.
Starting on towel dried hair, I used Leonor Greyl Voluforme styling spray from root to ends. Using a medium sized round brush, I did a standard blow out to straighten her curls, followed with a light misting of Condition Naturelle heat protecting spray so I could use a 3/4" curling iron to create soft natural waves. 2 drops of Serum De Soie Sublimateur for great shine and a couple sprays of Laque Souple soft styling spray completed this awesome look on such a big day! It held up during an interview outside in a snow storm! Amazing!”
