MJ first discovered the healing power of plants as a child growing up in Brooklyn. Her Sicilian grandmother would often use traditional herbal remedies to heal her various childhood ailments and injuries. the discovery that many of these natural, unprocessed, whole body remedies were more effective and healing than what could be purchased in a drug store inspired a life long respect, reverence and passion for the power contained within all that grows from the earth.
All herbs used by MJ's Herbals are grown in the United States and are certified organic or "grown without chemicals". This is important for purity. Only organic essential oils are in MJ's products so you can be assured that you are not being exposed to harmful pesticide residues. MJ's Herbals uses only certified organic olive oil as a base for infusing herbs since it has a low oxidation rate staying fresh and stable longer than other oils.
Lavender E Salve ($12.99) is ideal for healing burns, relieving headaches, stress and anxiety. Lavender also helps heal cuts, scrapes, rashes, irritations and blemishes. Vitamin E aids in tissue repair and helps reduce scarring. I've used a similar product in the past, and it worked wonderfully for my migraine headaches that I get every now and then. This product is just as good, but much more affordable than the other product I used before. I love to use products like this since I don't use aspirin for a pain reliever. I usually wait for a headache to subside.
Calendula Salve ($12.99) is a powerful remedy for inflamed skin, slow healing wounds, skin ulcers and irritations. It is so gentle that it is even great for baby skin care needs. I love to use this product for luxuriously soft hands and feet. It is also great for dry, cracked lips and treating damaged cuticles.
Arnica Salve ($12.99) is great for bruises, overworked sore muscles, tendon injuries and sprains. It is known for bringing quick relief, promoting circulation and hastening the disappearance of discoloration from bruising. Clove oil helps relieve pain. I'm glad that I received this product, because I bruise easily. I often get bruises that seemingly appear out of no where. I tried this product on a few and they were gone within a few days. It usually takes awhile for my bruises to fade, but they disappeared quickly after using the
Arnica Salve. I will definitely order more in the future when I run out of this!
Put away that first aid kit, because the First Aid Salve ($12.99) was created for most of your healing needs! It has healing herbs that speed healing and it helps prevent infection in cuts, scrapes, cracked lips, blemishes, burns and rashes. It is great to have i the home and traveling! And, it is a must have if you have children.
