Do blondes have more fun? Are brunettes really taken more seriously? Nicole Kidman's hairstylists have helped her morph on-screen into many different personalities just by changing her 'do. Stylist to stars like Maggie Gyllenhaal and Nicky Hilton, Jessica Tingley of the fabulous Frédéric Fekkai Salon gives her take on how a hairstyle can actually create and define dramatis personae, along with a few tips to look like you just stepped off the set.

Bewitched: "This hair has a Marilyn Monroe sex appeal - it's innocent and flirty.
Think The Seven Year Itch. The soft curls and shorter length are easy to wear almost all hair
textures and facial shapes. Ask your stylist for a cut between the shoulder and an inch below the chin with soft layers throughout."

The Interpreter: "Nicole is very blonde here, yet her character is very serious. The straight style and face-framing layers keep her look professional and no-nonsense. A clean cut and simple, smooth blow-dry will keep this look polished."

Birth: "This cropped hair can look sporty or waifish, but in this film it has more of
a conservative feel. It's a liberating haircut because you can no longer hide behind your hair, so be ready to face the world! The look is best for an oval-shaped face with delicate features."
